Brooke Taylor and her band 'The Poison Spitting Gin Queens' make their debut at George Lane launching her latest single 'Good Man' in April 2022. Written in the midst of the first Melbourne Lockdown, Taylor reflects in gratitude on the company she was lucky enough to keep during the pandemic, with a Soul/Funk love song dedication to her partner.
Brooke Taylor is a Melbourne-based singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her music style encompasses folk, rock and country elements. Wowing crowds with her magnetic energy at gigs and music festivals across the country, including St Kilda Music Festival and The Taste Of Tassie. The Poison Spitting Gin Queens feature Coberg Tipping (Lead Guitar), Craig Johnston (aka 'Delsinki' on Guitar, Mandolin, Keys and Trumpet), Rob Hornbuckle (Bass) and David Kleynjans (Drums).
Taylor is going from strength to strength, nabbing support slots for highly regarded acts such as the Pierce Brothers (AUS), Luka Bloom (IRE), Joe Pug (US), Renee Geyer (AUS), Tex Perkins (AUS) and Tim Rogers (AUS), as well as becoming a member of Mick Thomas' Roving Commission in 2021.
