Sunshine Tip are a Melbourne-based acoustic trio playing modern, dark, alt-country originals. David Bowers (guitars, vocals), Dee Hannan (mandolin, vocals) and Alice Garner (cello) bring to George Lane their evocative, sometimes melancholic but always catchy songs, sparsely and imaginatively arranged and featuring sweet interweaving vocal harmonies.

Sunshine Tip members channel a wealth of musical experiences across many genres to their foray into alt-country/Americana - from rock to lounge, jazz, funk, electronica, Greek and Irish. Acts (old and new). You might know the band members from include Eugene Hamilton and the Money, Xylouris Ensemble, Hogbelly Morton's Country Revue, the Nubiles, the Troubles, euphonia, Sally Ford & the Idiomatics... and plenty of others.
