Pinky Beecroft is an unpredictable thing. He was the singer songwriter and front-person of Machine Gun Fellatio - a band known for legendary live shows, extreme off-stage shenanigans and a string of radio hits. At the height of their success Pinky abruptly quit the circus and disappeared. There were rumours: he'd gone into hiding in Norway; he'd relocated to the Arizona desert; he'd passed away. Thence followed mourning, weeping, whispers, conjecture, alleged sightings.
Take a listen to some of Pinky below:

Machine Gun Fellatio - 02 - Not Afraid of Romance
Some facts: Pinky has played some rare and wonderful solo shows, recorded albums, won an ARIA Award for Song Of The Year and performed sell-out tours as a stand-up comedian. His eccentric presence has featured on TV shows as eclectic as The Glasshouse and the World 9-Ball Championship. And now after many, many years away he's coming back to Melbourne, for one night only, to play at George Lane.
About this upcoming show, he says: "Myself and a piano, a few friends, a few drinks, a little candle-light ... a few stories. A couple of very special guest-musicians. It's going to be intense, emotional, complex and quite possibly mind-blowing. And it may never happen again."
