Melbourne Ska Bar Returns with Edition 2 – A Punk-Flavoured Ska Party at George Lane

St Kilda, VIC – Sunday, September 14th, 2025 – After a huge relaunch last month, Melbourne Ska Bar is back for Edition 2 with another afternoon of high-energy ska, punk, and good vibes at George Lane, St Kilda.

Headlining the September session will be the unmissable Admiral Ackbar's Dishonorable Discharge, bringing their unique brand of punk-infused ska to the stage for what promises to be a chaotic, energetic, and dance-fuelled performance. Known for their blistering brass, heavy riffs, and tongue-in-cheek delivery, they’re set to blow the roof off George Lane.

Joining them will be local favorites Operation Big Jake Bosstone, a tribute act dedicated to the golden era of 90’s ska punk. Expect anthems from Rancid, Reel Big Fish, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, all delivered with the same energy and attitude that made those bands legends of the scene.

Melbourne Ska Bar is quickly becoming a monthly celebration of all things ska and punk, bringing together long-time fans and new audiences for an afternoon of live music, community, and skanking in the heart of St Kilda.
