Formed in the autumn of 23, Alphabet City mesh epic guitar sounds of ‘70’s rock with the complex yet memorably hummable melodies of the early ‘80’s. If Led Zepplin met the Hoodoo Gurus at a Howard Jones party where Stevie Wonder was playing, Alphabet City would be the result.

Fronted by singer songwriter Nick Stratford (Drunkle) and master guitar riffsman and shredder Justin Bernhaut, Alphabet City combine 200 years of experience with the Bluesy keys of The Doc (Simon Chatfield) and the powerful beats of master skinsman Julian Wiseman.

Lyrically Alphabet  City evokes shades of The Clash and Midnight Oil’s social commentary along with a nod and a wink to the silliness of rock posturing.
