George Lane is located in the iconic George Hotel Building on St Kilda’s Fitzroy St. The heritage building has stood since 1857 from which it has housed many uses and influential personalities. Its ornate external and internal features provide an image of the suburb’s early development and significance to the evolving architecture since the mid 1800’s.
