Ezra Lee & His Boogie Woogie Band + Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers (George Lane Matinee Sessions)

Double Trouble Blues Sessions presents international Bebop pianist Ezra Lee & his Boogie Woogie band plus Greek-Australian Blues Woman Kaliopi & the Blues Messengers performing favourites from each group before their closing supergroup collaboration set showcasing essential piano clarinet and guitar shuffle rumba and jump arrangements to dance off the events.

Ezra Lee is Australia's top singer and boogie woogie, blues and honky tonk piano with a wild style. 

Ezra joined Johnny Green's Blues Cowboys at 14 and in 2008 made his debut album Out Of The Valley followed by You Can't Stop A Freight Train in 2009 on Preston Records, both a combination of Texas style honky tonk blues and boogie.

Ezra has performed a season of sell-out shows at The Sydney Opera House with James Blundell, Nick Barker and Doug Parkinson, as well as touring and recording with Wanda Jackson, Linda Gail Lewis and Aussie rock group Rose Tattoo as well as being the support act for rock 'n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis in Las Vegas.

Kaliopi is a Greek Australian Blues Artist, guitarist, and singer-songwriter drawing from the great blues tradition and the powerful blues women who made it their own—leading the Blues Messengers and building a steady following from passionate and energetic live shows and acclaimed single releases 'When the Levee Breaks' and 'Troublin' Blues'. Both singles with Official Videos followed with "Kissing In The Dark included in their EP, ‘Highway #9 Studio Sessions’. November 2023 saw the release of their debut 10 Track Album, ‘Blues For Minnie’  receiving excellent international reviews and tour invitations.
